Rubaiyat #5

Iram indeed is gone with all its Rose
And Jamshyd's Sev'n-ring'd Cup where
no one knows;
But still the Vine her ancient Ruby
yields,
And still a Garden by the Water blows.

    1. That is a very difficult question, asking the meaning of poetry, whose nature is interpretation, I could ask you to describe a roller coaster ride, both questions are equally ineffective at achieving anything.

      If you are asking the meaning of the word “Rubaiyat” – I think it means “Poem” in Persian, though that too is debated.
